These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are applicable to any order for admission tickets placed online by a user (hereinafter the "Customer") from the website http://www.salon-du-chocolat.com website (hereinafter the "Site"), and their purpose is to define the conditions for ordering admission tickets to participate, as a visitor, in the SALON DU CHOCOLAT PARIS event (hereinafter the "Event"), organized by the company EVENT INTERNATIONAL - 3 rue des Déchargeurs 75001 Paris - registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number B 332 378 355 (hereinafter the "Company"). 
 
The present general conditions may be modified at any time at the Company's initiative in order to take regulatory changes into account. Where applicable, these changes, which will be effective immediately without the need to sign any document, will be communicated to the Client at the time of their first use of the Site after these changes.
 
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ORDER 
 
Prior to ordering tickets, the Customer expressly acknowledges that they are aware of these terms and conditions and accepts them unreservedly by checking the box "I have read and accept the terms and conditions of sale" before confirming their order. 
 
PRICE AND NUMBER OF TICKETS 
 
The prices of Access Passes (face value) are expressed in euros, all taxes included. Different types of rates (subject to conditions, if applicable) may be offered depending on the event. 
 
PAYMENT 
 
Tickets are payable when ordered. All orders, regardless of their origin, are payable in euros. Payment for passes must be made online using a credit card. The cards accepted for the payment of an order are those of the Carte Bleue, Visa and Mastercard networks. 
 
The credit card will be debited for the total amount of the order, as soon as the order is finally validated. It is specified that the debit of the bank card is independent of the actual printing of the Access Passes. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of the financial transactions. 
 
PAYMENT SECURITY AND PERSONAL DATA 
 
Payment security 
 
The Site is subject to a security system. The Company has adopted the SSL encryption process of Platinium Group SAM, which encrypts and secures confidential information.
 
Personal data 
 
The Company, as the data controller, processes the Client's personal data for the purpose of managing the Client's order and commercial relationship with the Company, in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. This information and the Client's personal data are also processed for security purposes in order to comply with the Company's legal and regulatory obligations and to enable the Company to improve and personalize its services. Depending on the choices made by the Client when ordering, the Client may also receive, through all channels, commercial proposals and news relating to the Company's activity and services. Where applicable, the Client's data may be processed, on the basis of consent that may be withdrawn at any time, in order to send him, through all channels, commercial proposals and news concerning the Company's other events. Only the Company's internal teams and the service providers connected with the organization and management of the Event that it has authorized have access to the personal data concerning the Client. If necessary, they may also be communicated to third parties according to the choice expressed by the Client (partners and/or entities of EVENT INTERNATIONAL). The personal data that must be provided are indicated as such on the forms and are necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract between the Client and the Company. Without this data, the Company will not be able to process the Client's requests. In accordance with the applicable regulations, the Client has a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of deletion of personal data concerning him, and if applicable, a right of opposition to the processing of his data, a right to deletion and limitation of the processing as well as a right to the portability of his data.

Customers have the right to file a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'information et des libertés (CNIL). The Client's personal data is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship between the Client and the Company, and then for a period of 5 years from the last expression of interest by the Client. The data necessary to establish proof of the said relationship and those necessary for the Company to comply with the legal and regulatory obligations to which it is subject are kept in accordance with the provisions in force. 
 
CONFIRMATION OF THE ORDER 
 
It is reminded that the Company will systematically confirm the order of each Client by e-mail. In the absence of confirmation by e-mail, please contact the Company via the Contact form on the website www.salon-du-chocolat.com 
 
PROVISION OF ACCESS TICKETS - PRINTING OF ACCESS TICKETS (E-tickets) 
 
At the end of the order completed and paid online, the Company will send the Client an order confirmation email inviting him to connect to his personal space at a later date to generate his Access Ticket(s). The Customer will receive an email notifying him when his Access Card(s) are available. 
From this date on, the Customer will be able to print his Access Card(s) in PDF format, on an ordinary printer (inkjet or laser) from an Internet access. One PDF will be generated per Access Card. Each Access Pass is STRICTLY personal (an identity check of the bearer may be carried out at the entrance to the Salon) and non-transferable.
 
Conditions for printing and validity of the Access Ticket. 
 
To be valid, the Access Ticket must be printed in portrait mode (vertical), on a white A4 sheet of paper without changing the print size. The following formats are also possible: cell phone screen, tablet screen. The Access Tickets must have a good print quality. Partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible Access Tickets will not be accepted and will therefore be considered invalid. In the event of poor printing quality, it is the Customer's responsibility to reprint the Access Ticket. Access Tickets are provided with a unique barcode allowing only one person to enter the Event for one entry (any exit is final). The validity of the Access Tickets is checked at the entrance to the Event using bar code readers. It is forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the Access Ticket in any way. Consequently, the Company may refuse entry when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of the same home-printable Access Ticket are in circulation and access to the Event has already been granted beforehand to the holder of a print, reproduction, copy or imitation of the corresponding Access Ticket. In the event of loss, theft or illicit use of the Access Ticket, no duplicate or certificate of any kind whatsoever will be issued to the Client, other than the single Access Ticket printable by the Client. 
 
CANCELLATION - ORDER MODIFICATION - REFUND - USE 
 
Any order placed online is firm and final and irrevocably commits the Customer to full payment of the price. Consequently, no refund will be made for any reason whatsoever, particularly in the event of partial or total cancellation of the order. 
Absence of right of retraction 
In accordance with Article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to trade show passes. 
It is reminded that Access Passes are non-transferable. 
The sale of Access Passes on the sly in the public domain, in a private place or on the Internet is a criminal offense punishable by arrest by the police and a fine of €15,000 (art. 313-6-2 of the French Penal Code). Upon announcement of the cancellation or modification of the date or time of the Event for which the Client has ordered an Access Pass or Passes, the Client agrees that the Company may use the contact information entered by the Client when ordering online to inform the Client of the procedure to follow. In the event of cancellation of the Event by the Company due to a case of force majeure as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, the Company will notify the Clients without delay. In such a case, no damages will be due, and the sums received by the Company will be returned to the Client.

COVID-19
In order to ensure the safety of the visitors, the Company will, if necessary, follow all the governmental instructions in place at the time, and will comply with those that may be in place at the time of the event.
The T&Cs enacted at the time of the online purchase may be subject to adjustments imposed by law or by any other governmental, prefectural or municipal directives between now and the date of the visit.
If the Salon du Chocolat de Paris and Lyon 2023 are canceled for health reasons, the tickets will be postponed to the Salon du Chocolat de Paris 2024, or refunded on request and minus administrative costs.
 
EXTERNAL LINKS 
The Site may provide access to the Company's partner sites through hypertext links or by integrating the content of partner sites into the Site. The Company declines all responsibility for their content, legality and operation and cannot be held responsible for the use that may be made of them by users. 
 
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 
 
All the elements, texts, logos, images, sound elements, software and icons contained in the Site or reproduced on the Site are protected by intellectual property law worldwide. Consequently, it is forbidden to modify, represent or reproduce totally or partially the Site and its contents, whatever the medium and the process used. 
 
APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTES 
 
The sale of items offered by the company on the site is subject to French law. In case of dispute, the French courts are the only ones competent.
